Big tires and better suspension blew us away on this women’s trail bike—and it’s not even the most expensive model

Does everything very well
But lacks sparkle

Good trail bike for getting started, but nervy on technical terrain. Buy if you want a budget bike for forest paths and bridleways, and like an upright riding position
Sturdy feeling frame with good power transference on the pedal stroke means it’s nippy. Though dated, the 3x8 Shimano gearing provides plenty of range for getting up steep climbs.
Tyres are super sketchy, and well worth upgrading immediate for better traction. The geometry and upright position places the rider high and forward
Great for flats and climbs, nervy on technical terrain and descents.

Last year, Scott was first to come up with a full carbon 27.5 bike and they were rewarded as they fully committed to the new wheel size with a full range of Genius 700 series bikes. Scott offered aluminum and carbon bikes with 150mm of travel in the new wheel size. - Mtbr.com
