The RSD Wildcat V3 will help you keep the Rubber Side Down even if you tackle bigger trails.

The Wildcat ended up being impressive on the descents, although it had a more leisurely attitude on the climbs.
Entire bike costs less than a frame and shock from most of the other brands we tested
Stable and confident on the descents.
Not lightweight with the adjustable chainstays, 7.6 lb frame
Not going to win any competitions for all-out climbing speed or liveliness
