We have chosen Shimano’s XT group as a shifting system, which has rightly been the benchmark for MTBs for decades. Featuring many technical highlights like a Shadow Plus rear derailleur, an I-Spec-II clamp and great ergonomics, the XT still sets the tone – and offers MTB riders everything they need. The next great part is the brake: The Magura MT Trail Sport comes with four pistons at the front and two pistons at the rear – as has become usual in All-Mountain and Enduro riding. A RockShox Pike RCT3 provides suspension at the front – it’s a downhill-oriented trail fork. A lightweight on the scales, yet a heavyweight on performance. Together with the matching RockShox Deluxe RT3 rear shock it represents the bike’s suspension system.
