Summary

The Rocky Mountain Altitude is celebrated for its aggressive geometry, adjustable Ride-9 system, and exceptional downhill performance, making it a standout in the enduro category. Its suspension, particularly with Fox components, offers a plush and tunable ride, though some reviews note issues with chassis flex and stock suspension tunes. The bike's versatility and no-compromise approach to trail performance are frequently highlighted, alongside its ability to handle technical descents with confidence.

Pros

  • Aggressive geometry enhancing downhill performance

  • Plush and tunable Fox suspension

  • Lightweight and durable build

  • Versatile for both climbing and descending

Cons

The harder we rode the Rocky, the more our initial hesitance about how much hammer such a light, trail-floating bike could handle was forgotten.

[Tested] Rocky Mountain Altitude Rally Edition

Jan 2015 · Ian Collins

With the new Altitude line, Rocky Mountain has come into the mid travel market with guns blazing. Over the course of the summer and into …
