High price point reflects the custom build and premium components, but I think you're also paying for the R&M name. International assembly and built-to-order means you could be waiting months to receive the bike if you live in North America. Only specced with the PowerPack 500 vs. higher capacity 625. Can't add a PowerPack or double-battery option later and the PowerTube is longer and heavier than PowerPack, so less portable to bring a second along in a bag
