Summary
The Ridley Kanzo is a versatile and capable gravel bike, praised for its smooth ride, comfortable geometry, and excellent off-road performance. It offers a wide range of build options and mounting points, making it ideal for long-distance adventures. However, some reviewers noted issues with sizing and a firm ride quality.
Smooth ride with excellent off-road capabilities
Comfortable, well-balanced riding position
Versatile with lots of mounting options
Wide range of build and spec choices
Sizing can be less straightforward than other brands
Firm ride quality may not suit everyone
Some components like the budget KMC chain underperform
Its sorted geometry and well-mannered handling made it a great bike for pretty much any terrain I like to ride on a drop bar bike.
The Kanzo A tackled numerous surfaces well, with the geometry providing a comfortable riding position for long-distance commuting and very good control when tackling tougher surfaces.
The Ridley Kanzo family stands for gravel performance like none other in the gravel segment.

Ridley announces a more affordable Kanzo Adventure A, with an aluminum frame and clearance for 700c x 47mm tires and plethora mounts

With Ridley’s cyclocross heritage, it's no surprise they can make a fast off-road drop bar bike, but with its wide tires and MTB-inspired geometry, there's more to this bike than you'd think
A smooth ride with impeccable off-road manners
Lots of mounting options
A comfortable, well-balanced riding position
A near endless amount of spec and build options means plenty of choice
Classified gearing gives a great mix of cadence-friendly gears but with a usable wide range
Sizing isn't as straightforward as other brands
The budget KMC chain works poorly with the rest of the drivetrain
Not the cheapest in this spec
Not available in the US

The fully equipped Ridley Kanzo Adventure aims to dominate the adventure segment, but does it live up to the name in our adventure gravel bike group test?
Versatile and capable build
Clever details that work really well
Fat tire and saddle combination offers outstanding compliance
Equipped for even the longest adventures thanks to the hub dynamo and lights
Unfortunately, the rear light cable rubs against the frame slightly

This Kanzo has a truly adventurous spirit – you may want to take it places where gravel bikes aren’t meant to go
Off-road handling
Superb, compliant ride
Good value for the spec
(Relatively) sluggish on-road speed and handling

It's a little CX-y, but perhaps not in the best ways.
Feature-packed aluminium frame, common component fitments, feels like a road bike with big tyres, Shimano shifting and braking bits, obviously robust and ready for use through harsh winters.
Weighs more than a bag of soil, unforgiving ride quality, not tubeless-ready, fit is likely too aggressive for many, not great value.
