About the Kanzo range
Gravel is the new kid on the block and its popularity is rapidly increasing. Is there a better combination than “discovering” and “cycling”? We don’t think so. Ridley makes a bike that excellently combines both. Coincidence? Not for us. With a gravel bike, you can master any terrain, at your own pace. But why the name “Kanzo”?
Kanzo, or canzo, is a word that dates back to the times of the troubadours, who were singers and poets in the Middle Ages. They traveled widely and experienced all kinds of adventures, which they turned into stories about knights or even love stories. On return to their home villages, they would tell the inhabitants about their adventures using three different genres. The most commonly used of these was a “kanzo/canzo”. Their stories moved entire communities, who hung on their every word.
Just like the troubadours, we want to encourage our Ridley riders to go out and ride their bikes, to discover new places or rediscover what they thought they already knew.

About the Kanzoe
Exploring forgotten tracks or trekking through outstretched meadows and forests. Everything is possible with a gravel bike. And we now add the enjoyment of electrical support. This extra ingredient makes your cycling experience completely perfect. With the Kanzoe you are actively and intelligently supported thanks to the Fazua Evation system. With this, Ridley enters into a partnership with one of the three largest players in the e-race bike market.
On the Kanzoe you notice our many years of expertise in the gravel segment. A longer wheelbase for a stable feel, even on the most difficult paths. 42mm tire clearance so your tire options are endless. Fazua Evation is a feather-light system, 4.6 kg for battery and motor combined, but at the same time is incredibly intelligent. It feels/adapts when you need more support and will gradually support you better. With a 250 W motor and a 252 Wh battery, you are guaranteed 50 km support. The Fazua can even give you a boost of up to 400W, perfect for overcoming even the toughest slopes. With 60NM torque you also get optimal support when accelerating after a corner or at a crossing.
