After a week of testing the Ride1Up Revv 1 DRT, I’ve got some thoughts. Check out my full writeup of the Ride1Up Revv 1 DRT, the electric moped built for off-road use.
The Revv 1 DRT isn't shy about its moto inspiration, from the frame design to that gas-tank-styled 1040Wh battery up top. More than just looking the part though, this thing backs it up with a 1000W motor that'll push you past 33 mph in off-road mode.
Full suspension with a 150mm double crown fork and rear coil shock means business when the pavement ends. The suspension setup handles both urban obstacles and proper trail riding, though you'll want to muscle this 94-pounder through really technical stuff.
Commuter-friendly features like high/low beams, turn signals, and that clever MOLLE panel storage system make this more than just a weekend warrior. Just don't count on doing much pedaling with those 127mm cranks and fixed seat height - this is a throttle-first kind of ride.
At $2,395, Ride1Up continues their value-focused approach without skimping on the important components like those 4-piston hydraulic brakes and beefy 20-inch wheels. You're getting proper stopping power and trail-ready components, even if you'll need a solid plan for transporting this beast. See Latest Price

The looks are killer, but the bike isn’t just style; off-road fun abounds on this speedy dirt bike-inspired ride. The Ride1Up Revv 1 DRT was everything I didn’t know I wanted from the brand’s moto-styled speedster. My previous experiences reviewing the HT and helping test the FS models already convinced me the Revv 1 was
The DRT’s 1000W Bafang motor is fast and fun, with great acceleration that almost any rider can handle.
It performed well in all of our testing. The brake, range, and hill test scores were all above average.
It’s one of the more comfortable e-bikes to ride with a robust suspension system.
As the name implies, this bike is good for off-roading but balances dual duties and performs well on paved areas as well.
It’s a great value, with features like the headlight, brake light, fenders, color display, and Molle system included.
The handling is great. It moves well in a straight line, and the suspension doesn’t bottom out into turns or ditches.
Looks are subjective, but this may be one of our favorite e-bikes visually.
The modular throttle helps you pick your speed, but it would be nice to have an option to tie PAS levels into throttle speed to conserve the battery.
Its 94 lb weight offers many handling benefits, but moving it around when not riding it will have downsides.
