Radon Swoop 10.0: first ride review - MBR

May 2021 · Alan Muldoon

Radon Swoop 10.0 is a 29er enduro bike with 170mm travel at both ends. Carbon front triangle with alloy stays. M, L and XL frame sizes.

Highs
  • Versatile big rig that doesn’t get bogged down in its travel. Fun, playful ride that’s killer value for money. Radon hasn’t tried to push the boat out with extreme geometry or sizing and as a result the bike is super-easy to ride. Will serve dual duty as a long-travel trail bike.

Lows
  • Only available in three frame sizes. No water bottle mount. 2020 discounted bikes are sold out.

RADON SWOOP 9.0 in review

Jul 2019 · Christoph Bayer

On paper, the RADON SWOOP 9.0 leaves nothing to be desired: brilliant suspension, high-end spec and an unbeatably low price.

Highs
  • Excellent value for money

  • Very balanced handling

  • Climbs willingly

  • Fantastic spec

Lows
  • Frame looks makeshift

  • Cumbersome in tight, flat sections

  • Loud chain

  • Only available from frame size M and up

Radon Swoop 170 9.0 review

Apr 2018 · Rob Weaver

Radon's dialled geometry and sorted suspension make it a seriously capable machine, no matter what the trail throws at it. Buy if you're looking for properly contemporary geometry, lively handling and a great spec

Highs
  • Superb geometry that balances high speed stability and agility well

  • Well-balanced, supportive suspension that's easy to adjust

  • Sorted spec sheet

Lows
  • Not everyone will get on with the powerful Magura brakes

  • Rear tyre needs to use a softer compound and tougher casing
