Field Test: Raaw Jibb - Smooth, Silent, & Sturdy

Dec 2021 · Mike Kazimer

While this isn’t the lightest bike, it also didn’t feel overly sluggish, at least as long as the road or trail had a decent pitch to it.

Highs
  • Excellent traction in loose, slippery terrain

  • Very well balanced geometry

  • Well thought out frame details, like sealed bearing covers

Lows
  • Not that light considering the high end build kit

  • Doesn't really ride like a 'jib' bike

RAAW Jibb XTR Build in review - Good vibes not fast times

Jun 2021 · Felix Stix

Strava KOMs, cheat lines and aero tucks? No thanks. The RAAW Jibb doesn't take shortcuts and steers away from fast-paced KOM battles with your riding buddies. Instead, the German alloy terrier loves to play with the trail and brings us back to the good old days when we were drifting through dusty berms in the rowdiest party train.

Highs
  • Skilled riders benefit from the agile handling

  • Technical climbs

  • Totally silent

Lows
  • Very demanding downhill

  • Not very comfortable on long rides
