Instead of mechanical cables, high-end Di2 electronic wires relay your gear selection instantly with a push of a button. Upgrading to Di2 based system places gear shift buttons on both your aero bar extensions and base bars.
New ULTEGRA R8000 series is "pro-proven" as it is a direct trickle down from DURA-ACE mechanical groupset. As a triathlon bike component, the stress-free operation is one of the most important feature to lead all day riding comfort with braking and shifting. Mechanical groupsets do not feature gear selection changes to be made from the bars as the shifters are placed on the ends of the aero bar extensions. Upgrading to Di2 groupsets allows for electronic shifting buttons to be placed on base bars and aero extensions.

Disc brakes are beginning to appear on the most aerodynamic bikes in the world and the SES 7.8 is ready. While most wheel manufacturers simply repurpose their rim brake optimized wheel models into disc brake wheels by covering brake tracks with decals and adding disc hubs and more spokes, this leaves substantial amounts of performance on the table. The co-developed Vanquish 6 GP wheelset takes QR’s disc-brake triathlon bikes to the next level of performance. Made in HED’s Minnesota factory, the Vanquish 6 GP undergoes an in-depth quality control process. The proprietary wheels use the same patented rim shape that HED uses for all of its disc-specific wheelsets. The 6 GP shape is all-new, with a 30mm external width (21mm internal width). This results in a superior aerodynamic performance with 23-28mm tires.
The Reynolds AR58/62 disc brake carbon road bike wheelset provides the ultimate aerodynamic advantage for time trials and triathlons. The rims are individually optimized for front and rear. The front is narrower to reduce frontal area and shaped to deliver stable crosswind handling. The rear is built with a 21mm rim channel to fit wider tires for reduced rolling resistance and the 61mm heights provides maximum lift to sail through the wind.

Many times even though you think you have the wire firmly connected, give it another push and 9 times out of 10 the system comes to life. What kind of thru-axle do I need for my stationary trainer? For use in a stationary trainer, a specific thru-axle will need to be ordered. The rear thru-axle is an E-thru standard M12x1.5, 142mm long. Does my bike arrive assembled?
