We review the Pivot LES hardtail mountain bike & Lauf TR Boost leaf spring suspension fork - Did they hold up to the rough 'n' tough 50 mile True Grit Epic?

Jan 2018
My pedaling pace slowed as the 4WD road began to switchback up a mountainside through an impressive aspen grove. Due to the gradient, I naturally lessened my clip, but I also was entranced by the deep mud holes in the road. They were filled with water from a recent snowstorm, and the last of the summer’s aspen leaves lay sprinkled in the deep puddles. With the late afternoon sunlight softening the smooth, white bark of the tall trees, the landscape looked like a painting.
