A race frameset.
Summary
The Pinarello Prince is a race-oriented bike that blends aerodynamic design with comfort, featuring a lightweight T700 carbon-fibre frame and clearance for up to 28mm tyres. It shares technology and design cues with the higher-spec Dogma, offering an aggressive ride quality and efficient power transfer, though some reviews note a firm ride on rough roads. While praised for its stiffness and handling, the Prince's mid-range componentry and wheels are often cited as areas for upgrade.
Aerodynamic design
Lightweight T700 carbon-fibre frame
Comfortable with clearance for up to 28mm tyres
Stiff and responsive frame
Shares technology with higher-spec Dogma
Firm ride on rough roads
Mid-range componentry
Wheels often considered entry-level
Pricey compared to competitors
The Pinarello Prince might not quite be heir to the Dogma’s throne – think Jorah Mormont to Jon Snow
‘marginal gains’ give it a ride feel on flat roads that is twitchy and excitable
A bike that's school report would read, 'keen, but must try harder'
This bike is stiff and very, very fast.

The updated Prince is a worthy heir to the Dogma's throne and will impress with its speed
An aggressive and fast bike that shares plenty of similarities with the higher-spec Dogma
Heavy wheels and finishing kit

The Prince comes in a staggering 11 frame sizes, and its geometry means that in future I’d probably substitute my usual 56cm size for a 55cm frame instead, gaining exposed seatpost, reducing the head tube and still having plenty of length to work with.. .
Dogma looks and tube profiles, brand pedigree
Price, overly firm ride, relatively poor value

Pinarello may be synonymous with Grand Tour success but the Prince is equally at home on a humble cycle path
Aerodynamic
Comfortable
Clearance for up to 28mm tyres
Budget wheels
Slightly undergeared for steep climbs

A beautiful bike to ride with great race-inspired handling, if you can get your head around the price
