Summary
The Parlee Chebacco is a versatile gravel bike praised for its comfortable geometry, road-bike-like position, and responsiveness to acceleration. It offers increased tire clearance up to 700×45 and added storage and accessory mounting points, making it suitable for a range of terrains. However, some riders may find the tire clearance limiting and note a lack of insulation on rough surfaces.
Comfortable geometry
Road-bike-like position
Responsive to acceleration
Increased tire clearance to 700×45
Added bottle and accessory mounting points
Some riders may find the increase to 'only' 45mm wide tires limiting
Lack of insulation on rough surfaces
Handling with skinnier tyres was more nervous
Now occupying their top selling spot, the Parlee Chebacco went from to their most popular model.
The Chebacco is more responsive to acceleration than any other gravel bike I’ve ridden, springing forward eagerly with a purity of purpose.
Our goal with the Chebacco was always that it would be decent off-road but with road tyres it would feel like a road bike on the road.
