The 'pub bike' that doesn't care how far away the pub is. On-One's Bootzipper's smooth steel frame and rigid fork are a throwback to the bikes loved before suspension, updated for bike packing or just biking to work. 650B wheels spin up faster and add pop when you're playing in the woods. Bootzipper's tough and durable double butted DN6 frame rolls far smoother than it should for the money, but then again On-One have been making steel frames feel special for decades. It's built to mountainbike standards so you can go silly in the woods, bounce through potholes or throw it on a Land Cruiser roof rack in India. Clear coat lacquer means you can see how well made it is too. Just be prepared for some 'rat bike' rust as it gets older, but don't worry it's only cosmetic.
Old skool angles are rigid fork only but work with risers, drops or Geoff bars so you can build it as rad or trad as you want. It's got 27.5 x 2.35in tyre clearance, it's dropper post compatible and uses Boost spacing bolt through axles for security.
3 bottle mounts, fork bag mounts and rack/mudguard fixtures make it totally ready to ride to work or head off round the world.
Groupset: SRAM Apex 1 SRAM's entry level gravel groupset delivers 11 extra wide ratio gears with silent chain retention, slick gear shifting and a super durable SX steel chainring chainset. Powerful mechanical disk brakes give all weather stopping power and modulation with foolproof reliability. Wheelset:650B wheels are lighter and more responsive than 29ers, giving this bike more punch and pop when you fancy a play. Bootzipper's get quality Fulcrum Rapid Red 900 650b Wheelset designed to handle anything the frame can and amp up it's all round agility.

Pedal choice is a personal thing. Most higher end bikes are expected to be ridden with clipless pedals. These are matched to cleats on the underside of your cycling shoes. There are a few standards of these, and most cyclists tend to stick with one standard across all their bikes. So, you don't need to buy multiple pairs of shoes!
