Lordy Lordy, does this bike have soul.
It's a ripping trail bike with a serious preference for being pointed downhill.

Built around twin-link suspension the Niner RIP 9 RDO 27.5 pumps out 140mm travel. Its Ribcage construction and shorter seat tube accommodate long droppers.
The rear suspension tracks well with limited movement when pedalling hard.
A carefully considered build kit makes it a very capable trail bike.
The reach is a hair too short on the size L and there’s no XL option in 27.5in.
Not all shock pumps are compatible with the frame layout.
Swapping between the geometry settings is fiddly.

The new Rip 9 RDO is easily the most intriguing bike we've seen from Niner, pretty much ever. This is a completely redesigned version of their flagship...
High-end suspension
Adjustable geometry
Good component spec
Moderately heavy
Complicated linkage
Low bottom bracket

Niner's redesigned 140mm trail bike is one of the best you can buy.

If you’re just too fast, too young or too shreddy to picture yourself on a Niner, picture yourself on the new RIP. It’s an unapologetic thrashing machine that happens to come in both a 29- and 27.5-inch version.

Niner has entered the modern era with their new RIP 9 RDO. Long, slack, low, and offered in either 29 or 27.5 frames, this bike is a whole new chapter for Niner. Check out the details inside.

Features of the Colorado bike maker’s new steed include 140mm of CVA suspension with 150mm up front, availability in dedicated 29er and 27.5er versions, and the honor of being longer, lower, and slacker than any Niner ever made. - Mtbr.com
