The Jet is still an XC rather than technical trail oriented bike at heart though, with organic-looking big volume carbon main tubes squeezed in to shape with Niner’s high fibre/low resin concentration Carbon Compaction System moulding.

If you’ve ever read anything about Niner, you know the company’s loyalty to the 29-inch wheel. So it goes without saying that offering 27.5+ versions of the 2017 Jet and Rip models is a bit of a surprise - to say the least.

After years of complete dedication to 29ers, Niner is getting in the plus game, as it rolls out fully revised versions of its popular Rip 9 RDO and Jet 9 RDO trail bikes. Both will be available in the usual 2- through 5-star 29er builds. But now you can also order them spec’d with 27.5+ set-ups with max tire size of 3.0”. - Mtbr.com
