Mondraker Vantage RR+ review

Feb 2016 · Tom Marvin

Insanely fast hardcore hardtail that rewards those willing to trust their front wheel. Buy if you're a skilful rider looking for a truly bullish hardtail to take on the steeps

Highs
  • Blisteringly fast and confident at speed, plus-sized rubber takes the sting out of the back end, surprisingly strong climber

Lows
  • Maxxis chronicle treads lack versatility, getting your weight over the fork takes a bit of getting used to

Mondraker Vantage RR

Aug 2015 · Jenn Hill

There’s no mistaking the distinctive looks of Mondraker’s Vantage – dubbed “the broken nose bike” during testing, you’ll either love it or hate it, and the same applies for the ride.

Mondraker Vantage RR (2015) review - MBR

Mar 2015 · Alan Muldoon

With Forward Geometry leading the way, we take the Vantage RR for a blast in the rough stuff

Highs
  • Mondraker is thinking outside the box and Forward Geometry is a great concept.

Lows
  • A steep head angle and super-light steering made it something of a white-knuckle ride.
