The standard 10mm quick release axles have been swapped out for 12mm thru-axles, reducing flex under hard braking, cornering, and accelerating, giving the bike reliable handling in all conditions. Built on the foundation of an agile steel frame with a stable upright geometry and grippy high-volume tires, the Provincial Road 1 is a solid weekday commuter and excellent weekend adventure buddy.
