Exceptional ride quality and geometry
Versatile and meticulously developed frameset
Lightweight and fun-ride nature
Increased number of mounts for carrying liquid or general luggage
High manufacturing and finish quality
Price may seem high for an aluminium gravel bike
Heavier than some of the competition
WTB tyres draggy on good surfaces
The original bike I thought was one of the most perfect I’d ridden back in 2016, has left me with the same visceral, versatile, beautifully crafted and passionately curated vibes this time round too.
The Bokeh doesn’t just look pretty punchy, it punches too. Stripped down to the bare bones, the frame really flourishes speed-wise on the more grizzled paths.
The Bokeh 3 is a high-end product, but it’s not just there to be picked up or ogled at the café stop. This is a bike that is designed to be ridden hard and ridden far.

Not the cheapest option out there

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Thankfully Mason Cycles hasn’t when it comes to the latest Bokeh 3.0, it’s merely been tweaked, refined and enhanced to make this iteration even more capable and versatile on gravel tracks, or tackling a challenging adventure than ever before. It still has that lightweight, fun-ride nature to it, but with a bit more attitude. Mason’s new titanium Bokeh
Great frame, quality Di2 groupset, lovely ride and oodles of versatility
Slightly slower on tarmac in this wide-tyred build and it’s pretty expensive

If you care more about function than flash — and are maybe a little carbon-averse — the Mason Bokeh is a great option for a do-it-all gravel machine that won’t totally break the bank. The triple-butted aluminum frame is reasonably light, rides well enough, handles brilliantly, and incorporates all the mounts most of us will […]
Efficient yet reasonably comfortable frame, excellent tire clearance, go-fast geometry, very versatile, classy aesthetic, lots of options.
Competent, but not stellar, at the off-road limits
A bit pricey.
