Marin Bobcat Trail 3 review

Mar 2020 · Tom Marvin

A fun-to-ride, versatile bike with a good, if not exceptional, parts spec for the money

Highs
  • Well-built and versatile frame

  • Brakes and drivetrain work efficiently

  • Tyres are fast-rolling and efficient, helping on climbs

Lows
  • On technical or loose terrain, a burlier front tyre wouldn’t go amiss

  • Fork feels flexy in extended 29er form without a thru-axle

Review: Whyte 605 hardtail Our guide to buying your first mountain bikeverything you need to know Regardless of your ability or budget, mountain bikes need to be just that, a bike that is capable of riding off-road, on technical trails and for extended periods of time.
