Summary
The Liv Intrigue is a trail bike that excels in delivering a confident and playful ride, equally adept at climbing and descending. Its women's-specific design and modern geometry have been praised for enhancing comfort and performance. While it offers great value and high performance, some riders may find its limitations in suspension travel and component specs a drawback for more aggressive riding.
Confident and playful ride
Women's-specific design enhances comfort
Modern geometry improves handling
Good value for high performance
Efficient climbing and capable descending
Limited suspension travel for aggressive riding
Component specs may not satisfy all riders
Short reach and dropper post issues
For the first time, 'women’s-specific' truly felt like it was an advantage, rather than something we had to work around.
Less travel can translate into more fun!
The confidence this bike gives you is amazing, effortlessly glided across the really rough stuff, I was so impressed with how smooth it was over roots and rocks, literally mowing over everything in its path.

The Liv Intrigue is an evergreen in Liv’s portfolio. For the coming season, Giant's women-specific sister-brand have thoroughly revised the bike, which now has less travel but bigger 29" wheels. Does the concept also work for petite riders?
Good-natured, easy handling
Efficient chassis
Good value for money
Twitchy at high speeds
Unnecessarily long seat tube limits freedom of movement downhill
