Does the World really need women’s specific mountain bikes? It’s a question we’ve all asked ourselves at least once and one that can be answered in a million different ways. Liv is a brand by women for women, which is why we were even more tempted by the Intrigue and to see how it performs on the trail.
Good-natured, intuitive handling
Very agile
Good all-rounder
Low insertion depth of the seat post
Weak brakes
Rear-heavy riding position with a conventional saddle setup

This is a first ride review score and may change as I spend more time on the bike
Composed suspension feel gives bags of confidence
Impressively lightweight build
Range-topping spec, as you’d expect for the price
Specced with a seatpost that’s just too short
Short reach
This model isn’t available in all territories
