The Liv Intrigue is an extremely fun, capable bike.
Liv and GIANT really know how to tune their rear ends. That’s also the case with the Intrigue, which feels sensitive and supportive at the same time.
A good looking women’s specific bike, and it’s not pink or purple!

Does the World really need women’s specific mountain bikes? It’s a question we’ve all asked ourselves at least once and one that can be answered in a million different ways. Liv is a brand by women for women, which is why we were even more tempted by the Intrigue and to see how it performs on the trail.
Good-natured, intuitive handling
Very agile
Good all-rounder
Low insertion depth of the seat post
Weak brakes
Rear-heavy riding position with a conventional saddle setup

For women who are just getting into mountain biking and want a confidence inspiring bike, the Liv Intrigue could be the bike for you.

Super fun, confident and versatile — not quite perfect, but it comes tantalisingly close
Burly enough for techy terrain yet efficient and playful on flatter trails
Superb suspension balance
Taller riders may feel cramped with the 432mm reach
For a bike this capable, a 100mm dropper just isn’t long enough

Feb 2019
A balanced, highly customizable all-mountain bike with just a dash of XC
