It was first introduced as Litespeed’s premier 3AL-2.5V titanium race bike, utilizing our most progressive designs to create a bike with exceptional handling and stiffness characteristics. A USPRO national championship, several stage victories, even a UCI World Road Racing Championship—rebadged— were amassed on Litespeed’s then flagship model.
Today, that heritage lives on, but the ceiling of what’s possible in a race bike has been raised to an even higher standard. The Litespeed Ultimate Disc adds the benefits of disc braking, making long descents and hard, late stopping no problem. The design also allows us to create greater frame clearance on the Ultimate Disc, permitting for the use of up to 30mm tires. When it comes to traction, control and speed, it simply doesn’t get any better.
And being a Litespeed, it delivers that signature titanium ride; stiff as you want, but over the long hours, comfortable as the material absorbs the buzz out of even the roughest chip-sealed roads. This is the best of the best in titanium.
