The KROSS Esker 6.0 in 2022 is a continuation of the thoughts that guided us when designing the previous models of this trendy bike model. It features new, more durable paint and a well-thought-out drivetrain. We have also improved many small details that are not visible at first sight, which will improve your riding comfort on any type of surface. We are sure that the new version of this bike will be as much or even more fun than in the previous years.
Until recently, there was no bicycle equipment adapted to the needs of gravel bikes. But Shimano GRX changed the face of this segment of bikes and allowed cyclists to be free from shifters typical for road bikes and derailleurs found in MTBs. Now, as in the case gravel bikes, you can enjoy the benefits of both worlds at the same time. The Kross Esker 6.0 comes with a complete Shimano GRX group operating in the 2x11 system. Also the hydraulic disc brakes are a small piece of art originating in Japan, the country of blossoming cherry trees. Unlike Sakura, a Japanese cherry grade, the Kross Esker 6.0 does not bloom only for a few months. Once you hop on it you will want this moment to last forever. DT Swiss rims are the foundation on which we built our wheels. We have equipped them with proven WTB Riddler tires with the width of 37 millimetres, liked by many gravel riders.
The Kross Esker 6.0 frame was made using superlite aluminium. Thanks to the heat treatment, this alloy is characterized by high stiffness and resistance to overload, while being extremely light. To increase its efficiency, it is additionally triple butted in places that are least exposed to force, and reinforced in sensitive areas. This alloy, due to thermal treatment, is characterised by high rigidity and overload capability. And most importantly, by low weight. In addition, in the least exposed areas, the frame tubes are triple-butted to reduce its weight. In addition, both the back triangle and carbon fork are equipped with rigid axles to help reduce the amount of maintenance work when replacing wheels. When designing the frame, we decided to equip it with internal cable routing. Due to the above, we made the bike's appearance aesthetic and neat, which makes it an excellent means of commuting to work for many people. The cable routing system has also allowed us to reduce the risk of the cable breaking during off-road riding.
