Diving into Knolly's Titanium Hardtail after some time spent on the steel version...
2 lbs weight reduction over steel
Excellent ride quality, same as steel
Larger hydroformed titanium tubes
Beautiful welds and headbadge
Plenty of tire clearance
External rear derailleur and brake cable routing for easy maintenance
Large tube diameters enable clean internal dropper routing
Foam provided to reduce cable noise
Internal dropper routing hatch is a weak spot for friction
Bare chainstay looks and sounds bad, lacks a rubber sleeve
High price (7900 CAD for XT build)
Stock Raceface Next R bars and 60mm stem too stiff/long
Cable noise from dropper housing in down tube
Not suitable for steep chutes or big G-outs
