Summary
The Knolly Chilcotin is a highly capable enduro bike, praised for its aggressive geometry and updated suspension kinematics that enhance pedaling dynamics and trail performance. It offers a plush ride on rough trails, excellent technical climbing prowess, and predictable handling in corners. However, some riders note its progressive suspension can be challenging to set up and may feel too aggressive for those preferring a snappier ride.
Aggressive geometry suitable for Enduro riders
Updated suspension kinematics for improved pedaling dynamics
Plush feeling on rough trails
Excellent technical climbing prowess
Predictable and wide arc in corners
Progressive suspension requires careful setup
Heavier feel when pedaling uphill
Less energetic climbing feel
Standover height has increased
Knolly has massaged the Chilcotin into an overall more aggressive bike, making it the obvious choice within their lineup for Enduro riders.
The Knolly Couchcotin is one of the most plush feeling bikes I've ever strapped myself to.
When set up correctly it handles fast rough trails unbelievably well. In its element, it's one of the easiest bikes I've ridden in a long time through rough sections of trail.Pinkbike

The Chilcotin 155 is Knolly’s do-it-all 29er, designed to excel on techy climbs and descents alike. How did it fare in our long-term review?

Knolly's full 29er Enduro bike takes it's time going uphill but shreds the downhills like no other.
Extremely plush and chatter-erasing suspension
Excellent uphill traction
Cornering is predictable and secure
Very quiet operation
Great brakes (Shimano Deore M6100)
Easy to clean frame
Heavy (36.6 lbs)
Suspension feels heavy and less energetic on slower, technical climbs
Shifting performance of Deore drivetrain is unexciting
Not as lively as some competitors in corners

The Chilcotin rides (and looks) better than ever, but it's not without its quirks.
Excellent tracking with little feedback through your feet
Balanced geometry
Ultra long seatpost insertion
Muted and calm ride through fast chundery trails
Will hunt out grip on technical climbs
It felt too progressive for me when riding with the air shock
Punishes rear wheels on square edges
Not particularly snappy under accelerations
Spec could be more suited to the bike's capabilities
