Knolly Tyaughton Titanium Hardtail Review

Nov 2022

Diving into Knolly's Titanium Hardtail after some time spent on the steel version...

Highs
  • Weight savings: 2 lbs lighter than steel version

  • Ride quality: 'rides so sweet that you want to ride it more'

  • Internal dropper routing with access hatch

  • Excellent welds

  • Large tire clearance (up to 27.5x2.8")

  • Beautiful headbadge and CNC-machined details

Lows
  • High price: $7900 CAD for XT build

  • Internal dropper routing may cause friction issues

  • Bare chainstay looks bad and is noisy

  • Stock Raceface Next R bars too stiff, 60mm stem too long

  • Cable noise from internal dropper routing
