Big battery, big travel, with balanced climbing and descending performance make the AllMtn ideal for big pedal-assisted adventures, but can it compete with the e-MTB competition?
Excellent climbing performance, particularly on steep terrain
Mostly great spec
Reasonably poppy ride feel
Comfortable riding position
MRS accessory mount overcomplicates bottle mounting
Basic shock is difficult to balance with the fork and struggles to match its performance
Hard compound tires lack grip in the wet
High stack and short feeling reach
Long chainstays negate mullet whole benefits

While its looks will surely divide opinion, the Haibike AllMtn 2 makes for a great first step into the world of e-MTB, thanks to a properly sorted and contemporary geometry. While its powerful Yamaha motor is a stand-out feature, its weight noticeably affects the handling and there are some question marks around certain spec choices. 2022 Vitus E-Sommet VRX review Opinion: A lightweight e-bike is in your future so you might as well get used to the idea now Opinion - E-bikes aren't a menace, it's all about trail etiquette The best entry-level e-MTB?

The e-bike specialist has specced its Haibike AllMtn 6 all-mountain model with Yamaha’s latest PW-X2 motor complete with InTube 600Wh battery.
Powerful Yamaha motor has been 100% reliable
Supple suspension smooths out hits big and small
All of the pivot bearings are still silky smooth after over a year of abuse
The protective battery cover falls off constantly
Hazy customer support
Not the prettiest ebike, but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder

In 2021, the Haibike AllMtn 4 with its Bosch motor and 625 Wh battery says goodbye to the XDURO suffix. Nonetheless, the frame platform has remained unchanged from last year. With its many practical features, the Modular Rail System and optional DualBattery setup, the Bavarian eMTB should deliver a solid performance both on the trail and during long rides. But can the affordable € 5,299 Haibike inspire sporty trail riders and enthusiastic tourers alike? Read our review to find out how the Haibike AllMtn 4 fares against the competition in our budget group test.
Riding fun in corners
Modular Rail System
Optional DualBattery setup for long rides
Freedom of movement downhill
Subpar quality of wheelset
Low maximum payload

An all mountain bike that is Bosch powered with front and rear suspension, a frame integrated PowerTube battery, and great tires and rims that can tackle almost any terrain
The SRAM Eagle drive train has a massive range (11-50) and offers a 500% gear ratio, a lovely and complimented setup with the Performance Line CX Motor and hydraulic brakes
A lot of attention to detail here with things like the Kind Shock LEV-DX dropper seat post, extra long and thick rubberized slap guard, seamless battery, and pully wheel to keep the chain in line
No bottle cage bosses despite the integrated battery, still has the traditional Bosch CX drag effect, and the price may be a tradeoff for some
