Summary
The Giant TCX is celebrated for its lightweight carbon composite frameset, offering a 17.5% reduction in frame weight and a lighter fork, without sacrificing stiffness or ride quality. It excels in cyclocross with its quick and agile handling, responsive acceleration, and improved seated comfort, though it may lack some comfort for longer rides. The bike's versatility is enhanced by its ability to handle both cyclocross and gravel, despite some limitations in gear range and comfort for extended back-country climbs.

That’s a 200g drop compared to the previous iteration, and that’s before we even talk about the lighter fork…
It lets me burn through singletrack and treat it almost like a hardtail mountain bike, but on the road, while I’m getting to the trails, apart from the hum of the tyres, I almost think that I’m riding a road bike.
The TCX felt nimble and stiff uphill, so I was surprised at its weight.

It has found a great deal of success over the years in World Championships, the cobbled classics, the daily commute, and on the sales floor. Almost inadvertently, midway through last decade, the TCX added another string to its bow. Giant was conspicuously […]
Quick and agile, light weight, good value.
Lacks some comfort, dabbles in gravel category but lacks any of the usual mounts.
