Summary
The Giant Propel is celebrated for its aero efficiency, blending speed with a surprisingly comfortable ride. It's lighter and stiffer than previous models, with improved aerodynamics and a redesigned cockpit for easier adjustments. While it excels in speed and handling, some riders may find the proprietary components and integrated seatpost limiting.
Lighter and stiffer than previous models
More aerodynamically efficient
Improved stiffness-to-weight ratio
Redesigned for a smoother ride
Space for tyres up to 30mm
Integrated seatpost may be a limiting factor
Proprietary stem and bar system
High price point
Limited to 25mm tyres for racers
It’s neither the lightest bike nor the most comfortable on the market but that’s not what it’s designed to be.
It's the first aero bike I've ridden with none of the usually associated disadvantages, and my time on it was an unmitigated joy from start to finish.
The Giant Propel Advanced SL 0 is a true do-it-all road bike with few compromises.
