Take the high-value SRAM X1 & Pike build of the 2017 Anthem Advanced SX, grow the fork and dropper post travel, slack out the head tube angle, and throw on more aggressive rubber and you have Andrew Stone’s min-maxed Giant.

Giant invited us to their US office in Newbury Park, California to sample their revived efforts at an all out XC race weapon.
