Focus Whistler Lite 27 review

Dec 2015 · Guy Kesteven

Good-looking frame, but the componentry is more suited to cycle paths than psychopaths. Buy if you’re after a well-priced machine for adventures not far off the beaten track

Highs
  • Sprightly on roads, with low standover

  • Fork has a lockout for climbs/sprints

Lows
  • Clattery frame, too-narrow bar and simple fork

  • Disappointing 3x9 transmission

  • Heavy wheels and slippery tyres
