The Breed’s a truly superb bike – it’s great value, has wonderful on- and off-road manners and it has real spark when it comes to both acceleration and handling.
BikeRadar logoBikeRadar
With the Breed 20, Felt want to bring classic road bike handling to the gravel world.
Gran Fondo Magazine logoGran Fondo Magazine
I think not having a front derailleur today was, like, the ticket because shifting the front end of a bike sucks in weather like that.

With the Felt Breed 20, another affordable gravel bike is trying to join the big players. It has an aluminium frame and mechanical SRAM gears. In addition, many mounting points are supposed to provide utility for everyday gravel riding. This group test reveals whether that’s enough to outdo the 18 best gravel bikes of the year.

Highs
  • Many mounting options

  • Premium tire

  • Predictable handling

Lows
  • Handlebar drops too short
