Summary
The CUBE Stereo 150 is a versatile enduro bike that offers a mix of agility, suspension performance, and value, making it suitable for a range of riders. Its 150mm travel four-bar suspension design is well-optimized for technical terrain, providing a confidence-inspiring ride. However, some reviews note a lack of stability in rough conditions and exposed suspension pivots that may collect debris.
Agile & responsive ride on technical terrain
Well-optimized 150mm travel four-bar suspension design
Affordable for an EWS-ready bike
High-grade carbon fibre frame with enhanced carbon-to-resin ratio
Good builds at a fair price
Lacks stability in the rough
Exposed suspension pivots to mud & debris
Feels slow to move through tight corners on flatter sections
Short reach by modern standards
Suspension felt soft and a little wallowly on the climbs
This is an incredibly fun, forgiving, and surprisingly affordable enduro bike.
Cube’s new enduro weapon gets big wheels and an aggressive suspension feel
Fun instead of high-speed! The CUBE is very agile, but it lacks stability in the rough.

On the Cube Stereo 150 C:62 SL 29, the C:62 of the mealy-mouthed model name indicates the level of carbon used for the frame construction.

The new Stereo 170 29er offers a killer spec, tons of fun and incredible handling. It’s not quite as surefooted as the best bikes in its category but it isn’t far off
Incredible spec including the fantastic Fox Factory suspension units
Well-proportioned geometry
Loads of fun thanks to the lively, agile ride
Tyres, especially the rear one, just aren’t tough enough to handle full-on riding
Doesn’t feel quite as planted or surefooted as the best in category

Such amazing componentry at such a fair price – where's the catch? You'll undoubtedly ask yourself this when you take a closer look at the CUBE Stereo 170 SL 29. We were just as curious to see how the bike would perform! Read on to find out.
Calm and predictable up to a certain speed
High-end componentry
Well priced
Rudimentary finish
Flimsy tires
Lacking rear suspension performance on the climbs and descents

The Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 Race 500 27.5 has an interminable name, though much easier to ride than pronounce while climbing a steep hill. The Stereo Hybrid uses a finely finished aluminium frame with sharp angles and a robust, industrial presence, 27.5” wheels wrapped in meaty 2.6” Schwalbe tyres, and the excellent Bosch Performance CX …
Excellent value.
Comfortable and composed.
Bosch CX motor runs very well.
Too conservative for aggressive riding.
Needs tubeless valves.

We detailed Cube's move to 29" wheels on the new Stereo 150 29, built for their Enduro World Series team. Previewing the affordable carbon bike in Finale Ligure, we rode away impressed with the 29er's agile & responsive ride on the technical terrain, chasing downhill after Cube's pro riders.
