Summary
The CUBE Litening is a high-performance race bike that excels in aerodynamics, speed, and handling, offering a 30% decrease in drag and significant watt savings compared to its predecessors. It features a lightweight frame, enhanced cockpit integration, and is noted for its fast, assured descending and agile performance. While it delivers a stiff and direct ride, some reviews mention a firm ride quality and the need for tyre upgrades for optimal comfort in certain conditions.
30% decrease in drag and significant watt savings
Lightweight frame with high stiffness-to-weight ratio
Fast, assured descending and agile handling
Enhanced cockpit integration and internal cable routing
Surprisingly comfortable for a race bike
Firm ride quality transmits road feedback
Limited turning ability and disconcerting bar rotation stop
May require tyre upgrades for optimal comfort
It’s a bike that wants to be ridden fast.
The Litening is nothing short of badass. If it were a person, it would have a mohican and wear leather mitts with spikes on the knuckles.
A superbike this good, priced at £7,499 / €7,499, is actually great value.

A great race machine, and the best value pro-level bike in the peloton. Buy if you want to spend a lot, but spend wisely with it
Razor sharp and very quick handling
Not quite the refined smoothness of the best in class
