Summary
The CUBE Stereo 150 is praised for its agile and responsive ride on technical terrain, with a well-optimized 150mm travel suspension that inspires confidence when the trail gets rough. It offers high-value builds, making it an affordable option for an EWS-ready bike. However, some reviews note it lacks stability in very rough terrain and feels slow in tight corners on flatter sections.
Agile & responsive ride on technical terrain
Well-optimized 150mm travel suspension
Affordable for an EWS-ready bike
High-value builds
Confidence-inspiring ride on rough trails
Lacks stability in very rough terrain
Feels slow in tight corners on flatter sections

This is an incredibly fun, forgiving, and surprisingly affordable enduro bike.
The Cube is well-suited to tight and twisty tracks
Fun instead of high-speed! The CUBE is very agile, but it lacks stability in the rough.

Great value, agile enduro bike, but geometry tweaks would improve things further

With the Stereo 150, Cube enters the long travel Enduro 29 segment. Just a few years back, “racers” were skeptical, thinking that these bikes were way too slow in changing direction and clumsy compared to their 27.5″ wheel shod counterparts. New geometries completely changed the game, reducing the negative effects. Shorter rear triangles with lower bottom brackets and longer reach values, and also more relaxed head tube angles, made the 29ers behave almost like their smaller sisters. In this way, the lower rolling resistance and the ease of overcoming obstacles emerged as clear pluses. Some brands like Transition and Mondraker, went even further with

The brand new CUBE Stereo 150 was a very poorly guarded secret. You could see the CUBE action team riders competing in EWS races on the new bike quite some time before the release. When the bike was officially released, there were a few surprises left none-the-less. For an overview of the test fleet head […]

The new Cube Stereo 140 is one of the best value mountain bikes we’ve seen this season. For $4K there’s a lot to like about it on paper, and after a few weeks riding we’ve really found it equally as impressive.
Amazing value.
Dialled suspension.
Robust construction.
Lively and fun.
Needs tubeless and a cable trim.
Front end wanders on steep climbs.

We detailed Cube's move to 29" wheels on the new Stereo 150 29, built for their Enduro World Series team. Previewing the affordable carbon bike in Finale Ligure, we rode away impressed with the 29er's agile & responsive ride on the technical terrain, chasing downhill after Cube's pro riders.

With a classy spec sheet and Plus-size tyres, Cube’s long-travel trail bike opens up new lines on old trails
In terms of spec there is not a hair out of place. Dripping with top quality gear
The wheels might be bang up to date, but the frame sizing could be more generous
