Summary
The Commençal Meta Power trail bike is a versatile and confident descender, offering a fun ride across a wide range of terrains. It boasts a solid climbing performance thanks to its steep seat tube and Shimano EP8 drive unit, alongside an impressive range from its 630Wh battery. However, its weight and some component choices may limit maneuverability in tight spots and affect the overall ride quality.
Versatile trail riding e-MTB
Confident descender
Good climbing performance with Shimano EP8 drive unit
630Wh battery provides impressive range
Reasonable price for the performance
Heavy weight affects maneuverability
Mediocre suspension components
Can be a handful in tight spots
SRAM SX drivetrain and Guide T brakes not favored
With the battery now hidden inside the 6066 alloy frame, the Meta AM Power casts a very similar shadow to the analogue bike.
The Meta Power TR is a versatile trail riding e-MTB at a very competitive price.
This bike is long and slack, it feels great at speed and doesn't shy away from aggressive terrain.

Adjustable Geo
Hard Charging DH capability
Needs Volume Reducers
A bit long for everyday climbing and tight trails

With the Commencal Meta Power 29, you have the battery capacity and the power, but the elevated BB height perches the rider on top, rather than in the bike.
Rips up climbs
Mismatched suspension
