Summary
The Cannondale Moterra Neo is a versatile downhill e-bike praised for its balanced suspension, powerful Bosch motor, and excellent traction. While it excels in rowdy terrain and offers a comfortable ride, some reviews note limitations in tight corners and technical climbs. Its design ensures consistent performance across frame sizes, making it a solid choice for a wide range of riders.
Balanced and active suspension with good mix of traction and support
Bosch Performance Line CX motor with 625Wh battery
Proportional Response concept for consistent ride across frame sizes
160mm of travel from four-bar linkage
Excellent traction under braking
Sluggish in tight corners
Technical climbs can be challenging
Limited steering lock
Seat angle could be steeper for very steep climbs
Overly tall seat tube limiting drop
A blast to ride, with great suspension, a composed feel and solid spec. Not perfect, but a lot of fun.
With its intuitive and good-natured handling, the Cannondale Moterra Neo Carbon 1 appeals to a wide range of riders – everyone from touring freaks to ambitious trail surfers.
Cannondale has nailed the tune of the RockShox SuperDeluxe shock.

Cannondale Moterra Neo SE has been modified for more extreme riding; same 160mm travel frame but it has been hopped up with a 180mm RockShox Boxxer fork.
Great suspension response.
Switchbacks are its nemesis.
No reverse mode.
