Summary
The Cannondale Jekyll is a highly capable enduro bike praised for its innovative suspension design, including a high pivot and Proportional Response system for size-specific performance. It excels in rough terrain with stable, composed handling and efficient pedaling. However, some reviews note limitations like wheel size options and build choices.
Proportional Response suspension design for better performance across sizes
High pivot with rearward axle path for improved bump tracking
Stable and composed handling in rough terrain
Size-specific geometry and suspension kinematics
Effective pedaling performance
Limited to 29″ wheels only
Only two build options available
Stock wheelset could be better
Rocks can find their way into the shock cavity
Idler drag noticeable when climbing
It’s like Cannondale flipped the script with the old frame, taking everything suspension related that was previously up high in the frame, and tucking it down as low as possible
The new Jekyll has been toiled over for close to three years now and sports a radically different frame to the old bike.
From the get-go the Cannondale Jekyll has proven to be an easy bike to get along with thanks to its centred riding position and balanced weight distribution. The handling is nothing short of exceptional.

High-pivot mountain bikes are becoming commonplace but the Jekyll's performance is anything but.
Rides light
Carries its speed well
Lively, nimble enduro machine
Adding a coil improves diversity
A race bike with everyday riding manners
Stock wheels
Stock air shock can have it feeling skittish in loose situations
Shock adjustments are hard to reach

Size-specific suspension? A high pivot suspension design with 'Guidler' pulley? Big travel? Big wheels? The new Cannondale Jekyll looks good.

The Jekyll 29 marks the final step that Cannondale needed to bring their flagship enduro racer to its potential.
Ready-for-anything build
Great flow going up or down
Big wheel roll-over without big wheel sluggishness
May be too normal for vanguard riders
Fussy shock tune
Some may be put off by the Gemini remote

Review: All of a sudden it just appeared out of nowhere: the Cannondale Jekyll 29! We quickly put one to the test on the trails.

Sep 2018
The 29-inch Jekyll promised to offer the support and stability we wanted more of in its small-wheeled sibling. And it did, but in a decidedly conservative, trail-oriented package.

Cannondale has always appealed to a niche audience thanks to use of unique technology. On this bike though, they've delivered exactly what enduro-minded riders want. - Mtbr.com
