The fork and brakes aren’t great, but there’s no hiding the fact that the Habit is a whole lot of fun. Buy if you want a bike that's fun, has plenty of character and are happy to pay for a few upgrades
Effervescent frame feel with handling and wheels to match, rear suspension is supple for traction without sapping speed or spiking over bigger hits
Flexy QR fork is an obstacle to easy upgrading, numb brakes, plasticky shifting feel and untamed chain clatter

The Cannondale Habit 5 has totally nailed the fit and sizing and the tighter suspension response makes it feel fast, efficient and fun to ride.
