O novo quadro da linha Explorer SL, desenvolvido e produzido no Brasil pela Caloi, é mais leve que sua geração anterior, e é feito em alumínio 6069, com geometria racing, cabeçote tapered e tecnologia boost, com eixo thru-axle e também com cabeamento interno, além de ser compatível com canote retrátil.
