Oct 2020 · Benjamin Topf
Hardly any other German brand has made such a name for itself in the international bikepacking scene as Bombtrack. The Hook 2 combines features from numerous disciplines, including a big portion of bikepacking DNA. Is that enough to hold its own against the competition?

If you aren't fussed about 11kg+, this is a great bike with all-round potential and the lifelong assurance of a steel frame

Mar 2017 · Cyclocross Magazine
The category-busting Bombtrack Hook EXT bike serves up cyclocross geometry, fat 27.5" mountain bike rubber and Columbus steel. Is this a recipe for fun?

Jan 2016 · Matthew Loveridge
A pleasant all-rounder that’s priced on the high side, and isn’t as versatile as it could be. Buy if you want an elegant steel all-roader and you’re not counting grams
Looks, smooth ride quality, top notch wheels
Weighty, over-geared, expensive, and not quite the swiss army knife it claims
