Overview
OK, so they've mastered balance; they've conquered pedalling. Now it's time to step things up, get them going faster, and experience more of their surroundings. As with the rest of the JNR range", the JNR 20" takes inspiration from the adult HYB range with a focus on lightness and easy, intuitive handling.
A light, triple-butted alloy frame and alloy fork make the bike easy to pedal and balance. Ample standover clearance and a long wheelbase mean the bike is easier to get on and off and more stable and predictable when riding. Short-reach brake levers make mastering the art of slowing down a breeze.
The addition of a seven-speed Shimano gearing opens up so many possibilities. That school run that was just a little too far or too hilly is now within reach. Those Bikeability sessions will be a breeze, and with belief in their bike and ability, there'll be no stopping them from getting out and exploring.
