BMC Speedfox AMP Two first ride - MBR

Aug 2018 · Alan Muldoon

BMC Speedfox AMP is a trail focussed e-bike with aggressive geometry and 29in wheels. BMC's new e-bike will turn up your trail-riding buzz.

Highs
  • Good geometry and handling. Smooth power delivery from the Shimano STEPS motor. Plenty of braking control with the 200mm rotors.

Lows
  • Limited to three sizes. Shimano’s STEPS Thunder Bolt switch is just like a Di2 Shifter and equally awkward in use.

The Speedfox AMP is labeled as a “Trail Bike” and the 29” wheels and power assist are great for covering a lot of ground quickly allowing for more riding in a shorter period of time. - Mtbr.com
