Summary
The BMC Speedfox is a trail bike that excels in agility and playful handling, with a firm suspension that offers sufficient reserves for harder impacts. Its Shimano motor and efficient design make it a strong climber, though some components like the cockpit and tyres may require upgrades. The bike's design and performance have been praised, but its high price and some build choices have drawn mixed reactions.

Love it or leave it? Although the BMC Speedfox AMP ONE is sinfully expensive, the build isn’t exactly perfect.
BMC’s new e-bike will turn up your trail-riding buzz.
Strangely, you actually start looking forward to steep, rooted, and rutted climbs that you used to dread.

The BMC Speedfox AMP ONE was designed to be a fast eMTB for every kind of riding. It’s been given large wheels, firm suspension and a high-quality frame. Looking for a good time, we took it to the Alps, down flowing trails and through the city. Was it as much fun as we hoped?NEW: Before […]

BMC Speedfox AMP is a trail focussed e-bike with aggressive geometry and 29in wheels. BMC's new e-bike will turn up your trail-riding buzz.
Good geometry and handling. Smooth power delivery from the Shimano STEPS motor. Plenty of braking control with the 200mm rotors.
Limited to three sizes. Shimano’s STEPS Thunder Bolt switch is just like a Di2 Shifter and equally awkward in use.

The Speedfox AMP is labeled as a “Trail Bike” and the 29” wheels and power assist are great for covering a lot of ground quickly allowing for more riding in a shorter period of time. - Mtbr.com
