Summary
The BMC Fourstroke is a lightweight, fast cross-country bike designed for racing, featuring progressive suspension and modern geometry that enhances handling and stability. It excels in sprints and descents but can feel harsh on rugged climbs and comes with a high price tag. The integrated dropper post is a standout feature, adding speed and control in technical sections.

The Fourstroke is not meant to be a cloud. It’s meant to be lightning.
If you’re concerned with winning, this is the bike for you. If you’re concerned with value, it is not.
Who doesn’t like riding fast? The Fourstroke offers exceptional speed in every situation backed up with the soothing stability and control from geometry that is a world away from old fashioned XC bikes, plus the integrated dropper is a real highlight and a benefit on rowdy terrain when you’re riding on the limit.Pinkbike

It’s eager to get going, and while this isn’t the lightest build on offer, the frame stiffness and composed suspension feel under power mean you’re up to speed in no time. . .
