Bianchi Aria E-Road in Review

Aug 2019 · Benjamin Topf

The Bianchi Aria E-Road is the second E-road bike to be released by the world's oldest bike manufacturer. We have allready tested the bike for you.

Highs
  • Fast on flat terrain

  • Slim silhouette

  • Lots of a more for relatively few euros

Lows
  • Unstable front end when climbing out of the saddle

  • Unbalanced handling on the limit

Bianchi Aria E-Road review

Jun 2019 · Warren Rossiter

On the Aria, however, the assistance only kicks in when the road starts to rise, so on normal flat or rolling roads it feels, well, like an Aria: it’s fast, it holds onto speed well and it handles like an aero bike should, while the slightly relaxed head angle means it’s stable and smooth riding (thanks to those big 28c tyres).. .

Highs
  • Handles as well as the Aria should, assistance is smooth and unobtrusive, range is good if you ride clever

Lows
  • Stealthy e-bike integration could be considered dishonest, expensive
