The objective behind the new Nitron project is to extend the race-winning performance pedigree of our elite level Methanol model, into a new frame platform, aimed at weekend cross country and marathon racers. SUBLIME RIDER CONTROLConstructed using our advanced carbon fiber lay-up technology, the Nitron frame uses highly-tuned tube profiles, from the head tube to the dropouts. Achieving an outstanding stiffness to weight ratio, pinpoint steering and sublime levels of rider comfort for long hours in the saddle and available in four sizes 15, 17, 19 and 21 inches. Every rider can achieve a perfect fit. BB92 bottom bracket, tapered head tube, Boost 148 standard and 429mm short chainstays work together to create a direct pedaling platform and achieve the best power transfer. PRO RIDERS INPUTDeveloped with help from the Bianchi World Cup race team, the Nitron features new, revised ‘race ready’ geometry to help riders gain a competitive advantage in speed and agility – to rail every singletrack turn, and nail every drop, even at full race speed. Our official racing team also inspired the addition of internal cable routing for a dropper seat post on the Nitron. Dropper posts are a growing trend for XCO and XCM riders, as they tackle ever more challenging and technical courses. Bianchi's Nitron 9.4 marries a lightweight composite frame to budget-minded kit to produce a rapid cross-country machine that won't break the bank. That said, it would stand to benefit from upgrades in the future, especially compared to direct sales bikes. It's decidedly old-school handling will please racing types too, if not those in search of tougher trails.
